Senior Lunchtime Supervisor

Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a Senior Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant from 13th April 2026 to join our friendly and supportive team.
You will need to be a good time keeper, confident when dealing with pupils, a good communicator, a calm organiser and be able to work well in a team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about children’s play opportunities. Previous experience and a first aid qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
The post involves:-
- Leading and managing the lunchtime staff and systems
- Working with the Senior Leadership Team on developing play provision at lunchtimes
- Organising lunchtime staff rotas
- Supervision of the children at lunchtime in the hall, classrooms and outside areas, encouraging good table manners and supporting healthy eating.
- Being aware of children in school with specific medical needs.
- Attending relevant training and courses as required
- Supervising, organising play activities and encouraging children to participate in games and activities
- Promoting independence, positive play and positive behaviour
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of all our children at all times
- Administering minor first aid (training will be provided)
Hours are 11.30am to 1.40pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
