Due to the retirement of the longstanding Curriculum Leader we have a rare and exciting opportunity for an exceptional English practitioner to shape the strategic direction of a high performing subject area. As Director of Curriculum, you will work at a highly strategic level alongside a skilled team of middle leaders, driving innovation and excellence across the faculty. This role offers outstanding preparation for aspirant senior leaders, providing meaningful experience in wholeschool leadership, curriculum design and impactful line management.
English is a highly successful subject at The Wavell School, where students consistently make exceptional progress and achieve superb outcomes. The English Faculty benefits from its own dedicated teaching block and is staffed by a stable, innovative team whose collaborative ethos creates a vibrant, forwardthinking environment for learning and professional growth.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic classroom practitioner who:
