Job Introduction

The job will involve:

  • Working as part of the year group team to support learning of individuals and groups.
  • Delivering small group or 1:1 interventions
  • Supervision of pupils during lunch time.

Applicants will:

  • Demonstrate good communication skills and empathy with young children
  • An understanding of early child development
  • Show initiative and be prepared to try new things
  • Be patient and flexible
  • Understand confidentiality, safety and safeguarding
  • Be a team player
  • Grade C at GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification is an advantage but not essential
  • An understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs, or a commitment to learn.
