Job/Person Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to specifically support small groups of children with interventions. Candidates will need to have a good understanding of junior aged children and how they learn. Experience of listening to children or helping with mental health is desirable
- Be cheerful, flexible and approachable.
- Have energy and enthusiasm and be able to show initiative within the role.
- Be a team player, able to work closely with teachers and other adults within the classroom to ensure the best for our pupils.
- Be patient and have good communication skills.
- Have a good understanding of child development and some experience of supporting children who have social and emotional difficulty.

We can offer a strong and supportive staff team and a detailed training programme for the Learning Support Assistant role. This contract is initially for two terms but is highly likely to evolve into a permanent position.
