Hours of Work: Term time (plus 1 additional week to be agreed with line manager) - 25 hours 12.00pm - 5.00pm
Job/Person Summary
We are looking for an afternoon admin assistant who is flexible, friendly and fun to join our Admin Team, help manage the smooth running of our school office and support the welfare and wellbeing of our children and staff.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Provide a welcoming reception to visitors, parents, pupils, and outside agencies.
- Have excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Have a flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and part of a team
- Be able to keep calm and positive in a busy office
- Have sound knowledge of administrative procedures and IT systems
- Have a friendly, caring disposition; being empathetic to individual needs.
- Be willing to administer first aid
- Have good communication skills and a good eye for detail
- Support the School Admin Officer
- Be able to work with frequent interruptions from our lovely children
- Undertake any other duties as they arise
