LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT
GREAT BINFIELDS PRIMARY SCHOOL
We are seeking a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant who enjoys working with children to join our friendly and supportive lunchtime team. Experience of working with children previously is desirable but not essential. You will be supported with regards to induction and in-school training, including first aid training, can be provided to enable you to develop your skills further.
Position Details:
- Hours of work: 7.5 hours per week, 11.45 am to 1.15 pm, Monday to Friday. If you would prefer not to work certain days please note this on your application form, as more than one vacancy is available so there is scope for some flexibility.
- Permanent contract, term-time only.
- EHCC Grade A, starting at £24,225 full time equivalent – actual hours will be pro-rated.
Duties include:
- Supervision of children at lunchtime in the hall, classrooms and outside areas
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting healthy eating
- Supervision and support with playtime activities
- Dealing with minor first aid (training can be provided)
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils
- Being aware of children with specific medical needs
- Working as part of a wider lunchtime team
