Job Introduction

We are looking for a Site Manager who is positive, proactive, reliable, and practical to join our dedicated team. This role is critical in ensuring our site remains safe, well-maintained, and continually improving to meet the needs of pupils, staff, and the wider community. Led by the Senior Site Manager, you will work as part of the site team to support the smooth running of the school and help deliver a high-quality environment for learning and community use.

Key Responsibilities

· Take a proactive role in developing the site and improving facilities, ensuring the school environment is functional, attractive, and fit for purpose.

· Plan and deliver improvements to the building fabric and grounds, working with colleagues to prioritise projects.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the site.

· Act as a key holder with responsibility for site security during your working hours.

· Engage with community users during evening and weekend shifts, ensuring booked facilities are accessible and ready for use.

· Support school activities and events, working flexibly to meet operational needs.

What We’re Looking For

· A positive, practical approach and a strong sense of pride in your work.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Flexibility and good interpersonal skills to relate well to pupils, staff, and visitors.

· Previous experience in site management or a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Working Pattern

This role operates on a 4-week rotating shift pattern with a 17% shift allowance to reflect flexibility and weekend working. Shifts include:

· Weekday shifts:

  • 06:00 – 14:00
  • 09:00 – 17:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00

· Weekend shifts (Plus 2–3 additional weekdays to make up contracted hours)

  • Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 – 18:00

There may be occasions where hours vary to cover annual leave, sickness, or school events.
