LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT  

32.5 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks per year)

Salary Grade C - £18,995 to £19,794 (actual)

We are looking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our small established team. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and organised individual with excellent communication skills and a good level of education. 

The purpose of the role will be to:

• Work with the class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils.
• Promote pupils independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
• Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. 
• Be responsible for ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school and trust.
• Work in line with the school ethos and the trusts’ vision.
