Job/Person Summary

We are looking to appoint a full time Year 1 teacher to join our creative, successful and popular school from January 2026 to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • is an outstanding and reflective classroom practitioner, who is passionate about making learning exciting, memorable, and long lasting
  • can demonstrate consistently good/outstanding teaching
  • is committed to providing the best possible education for all pupils
  • has an excellent understanding of assessment for learning and actively uses this to inform planning and teaching in real-time
  • is able to provide a nurturing classroom and inclusive environment that supports each child to develop as a learner
  • has excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with their team, parents and the wider community
