At King’s Academy Northern Parade, we are seeking a dedicated, nurturing and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant, caring team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, forward-thinking school where every child truly matters.

About the Role:

As an LSA, you will play a key role in helping all children access learning and thrive:

  • Support pupils within the classroom alongside the class teacher

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with additional needs

  • Work with small groups to boost learning and confidence

  • Help build positive relationships and a sense of belonging

You’ll be an important part of creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.

  • Have high expectations for all learners

  • Be committed to inclusion and equity

  • Use relational practice to support behaviour and emotional needs

  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills

Experience in a similar role or supporting children with SEND is an advantage, but not essential—we value the right mindset and passion most of all.

  • A commitment to professional development and staff wellbeing

  • Supportive leadership and a passionate staff team

  • A chance to genuinely impact children's lives every single day
