About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a middle leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with the current team, offering strategic leadership, coaching, and support to enhance inclusive teaching practices, pupil progress, and staff development. This role will include a teaching commitment alongside leadership responsibilities, ensuring you remain closely connected with classroom practice and pupil development.
The success candidate will:
Ensure a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where all children can thrive.
Be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), supporting whole-school development and contributing to key decision-making.
Provide strong and effective leadership, ensuring inclusive quality first teaching and learning across all classes.
Review, update, and implement the school’s inclusion policy, ensuring it aligns with national and local expectations.
Lead and manage the Inclusion Team, including SENDCO, support staff, and teaching assistants, ensuring effective collaboration and professional development.
Coach, mentor, and support teachers in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners regardless of their starting point.
Work closely with the SENDCo and inclusion team to provide the best support for our children.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated leader who:
Has a proven track record of excellent teaching
Have the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support staff.
Is passionate about inclusion, high-quality teaching, and pupil progress.
Has a deep understanding of early childhood development and best practices in education.
Is a team player with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Believes in relational and restorative practice.
