We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and well-organised Cleaner to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to play an important part in the daily life of our school by helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our learning spaces.

As a two-form entry infant school, we are proud of our warm and inclusive community, where children and staff are encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity and resilience. Surrounded by beautiful outdoor spaces and just a short walk from the beach, our school provides a vibrant and welcoming environment where every child can flourish. We are looking for someone who will take pride in helping us keep our school safe, tidy and ready for learning every day.

Why choose us?

  • A genuinely supportive and collaborative staff team
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities tailored to your needs
  • A strong focus on staff wellbeing and work-life balance
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children’s health, wellbeing and safety every day

The role

You will work closely with our Site Manager and other cleaning staff to ensure the school is safe and hygienic for pupils. Cleaning would be completed daily after school with an opportunity for blocked working during school holidays.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is kind, patient and enthusiastic
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Has high standards of cleanliness
  • Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
  • Embodies our school values: Safe, Honest, A Community, Resilient, Kind

If you would like to make a meaningful difference to the health and safety of our school community then we would love to hear from you!
