Job Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and organised Governance Professional to support high-quality governance across our Trust. This is a key role ensuring effective clerking, strong governance processes and statutory compliance, enabling the Board of Trustees to make well-informed decisions that place Pupils First.

The role:

Reporting to the Chair of Trustees and CEO you will:

• Provide high-quality clerking and governance support to the Board, Committees and Members.
•  Ensure effective governance processes, compliance and statutory requirements are met.
• Coordinate governance cycles, agendas and high-quality Board papers. and accurate minutes with tracked actions
• Maintain statutory records and manage regulatory returns, while supporting Trustee recruitment, induction, and development 
• Promote effective governance across the Trust, including communication, committee support, and continuous improvement initiatives
