Lunchtime Play Leader

Job Introduction

Lunchtime Play Leader- closing date 17th April 2026

We are looking for a lunchtime play leader to join our friendly team who look after our pupils at lunchtime. This role is for 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 11.45am – 1.15pm

The successful candidate will:

· Enjoy working with children

· Be proactive and promote ‘positive play’

· Actively engage with children to ensure lunchtimes are enjoyable and promote healthy eating

· Have high expectations of children’s behaviour

· Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures (training given)

The main duties will include:

· Assisting the children in the dinner hall

· Ensuring positive behaviour at all times during lunchtime

· Organising and playing games or activities to help develop children’s play

· Administering basic first aid (training will be given)

The salary for the role is A3: £24,415 pro rata (Actual salary £4,233.24).
