Job/Person Summary

We wish to appoint one Early Years Assistant to work in our YR team. The job is full time, term time only and permanent from September 2026. A sense of humour, effective communication skills and a flexible approach are essential. Experience of working in an Early Years setting is essential. You will have good literacy and numeracy skills. 

Our ideal person will:

  • have a genuine interest in nurturing our children (and their parents!) when they join our school 
  • have a solid understanding of the Early Years curriculum and assessment
  • have an understanding of how young children learn & play
  • have high expectations of what they can achieve and how they should behave
