Job Introduction

Copythorne CE Infant School is part of the Oaks CE Learning Federation, three small rural schools in the New Forest. We are looking to recruit a patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is varied and involves general classroom support / small group work, as well as working one to one with children with specific learning needs, to help them to develop and thrive. 

We are looking for a caring and compassionate team player, who will collaborate with colleagues, is willing to learn and expand their understanding of how different children develop.

Support children on the playground at lunch times and work as part of the lunchtime team

About You:

Experience of working with children with special educational needs (preferred but not essential – full training will be provided).

Compassionate and motivated to work with children and support their needs

Able to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting the school’s values and ethos.
