We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher who has high expectations and continuously strives for the best outcomes. This an exciting opportunity to join The Hamble School. Our vision ‘We Care, We Aim High, We Learn and Achieve Together’ encapsulates the work we do every day. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1,140 students. We have been recently graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we are continuing to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our students.
The successful candidate will join an established and successful group of teachers and support staff, who deliver an engaging and aspirational curriculum to our students. Our dedicated team work collaboratively together to drive up standards of achievement. Our department is very well-resourced and has an HLTA, dedicated to small group intervention and one-to-one tutoring of our disadvantaged and more vulnerable students.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic English teacher with a sound subject knowledge at both KS3 and KS4. The English Team work closely together, share best practice and support each other to drive the department to continually improve the outcomes for our students. A colleague who is motivated and innovative would be the perfect addition to ‘Team Hamble’. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.
