Are you a passionate teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? Park Gate Primary School is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team on a fixed-term, full-time basis from September 2026.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious early career teachers (ECTs) looking for a fixed-term placement. At Park Gate Primary School, you’ll be part of a welcoming staff team committed to professional development and making a real difference to the lives of our 400+ pupils.

Qualifications and training

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to primary education

Experience

  • Successful teaching experience (applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs)
  • Experience of fostering excellent pupil progress

Skills and knowledge

  • Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment practices
  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to pupil welfare
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
