Job Introduction

Senior Science Technician

Salary: WA5-14 to WA5-20    £27,224 to £31,341 pro rata per annum 

Hours: 36 hours per week    Monday to Friday (daily working hours to be agreed)

            Term-time 39 weeks per annum 

 

Required as soon as possible. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Technician to work in our vibrant and friendly Science department. The post holder will manage a small technician team in the preparation of resources for practical learning in the classroom and assist with teaching and learning in lessons where appropriate.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work both in a team and independently. Previous experience of working in a scientific setting is desirable, but you will work closely with our technician team and Faculty Leader for Science and all relevant training will be provided.
